We get asked a lot of questions day to day, so thought it would be a good idea to list them here, along with our answers…

Of course, if your question isn’t answered here, please feel free to get in touch, we’ll be happy to help

Q. Can you look after my dogs at your home during the day whilst I’m at work?

A. Sadly not, as we’re not a licensed boarder. But we can look after your pets at your home, would that work?

Q. OK, it might. Could you take them for a walk – twice a day – too?

A. Yes of course, we love walking, and we love dogs! that’s our job

Q. I have a v young puppy, could you pop in and feed him and let him out for a wee? he won’t need walking as he’s too little

A. Yes, that’s exactly what our pop-in service is for

Q. I’d prefer it if my dog was walked on his own, rather than with a bunch of others? he’s a bit nervous

A. To be honest, so would we. And most of our walks are with just one dog. If there is more than one, nearly always they are from the same household so they know each other. It’s much easier for us, you and your dogs, to be honest

Q. I’d love to book you but I need to make sure you can do the dates before I pay a deposit, how do I do that?

A. Great question. Probably the easiest & fastest way is to whatsapp either me or Andrew and ask us. Our numbers are here

Q. OK, what info do you need?

A. Tell us where you are, eg Sutton Valence, Loose, Charing – breed of dog and of course, the dates you have in mind

Q. Assuming you can do the dates, what happens then?

A. We’ll send you a link to a form to complete with a couple more questions and a payment link to pay your deposit

Q. How much deposit do you need and when do I pay the balance?

A. We require 50% deposit at time of booking and the balance on the first day of the booking, please

Q. Do you look after other animals apart from cats & dogs?

A. Yes. Not often but we have looked after chickens and even pygmy goats in the past!

Q. Can we meet before we ask you to look after our pets?

A. We insist on it. Seriously, we always arrange a ‘meet & greet’ at your home so we can meet you and your furries beforehand. This is especially important if you’re going away, so they meet us and you can see how they’re interacting with us etc.. It’s also a good chance for us to have a chat, find out feeding times, walking times and habits etc., etc..

Q. What happens if my pet needs medical attention while we’re away?

A. Before any booking, we ask that you leave your vets contact details. We have a fair bit of common sense but if needs be, we always treat your pet as it were our own, if the vet suggests we bring them in, that’s exactly what we’ll do, any time of day or night. And of course, we’ll keep you informed with regular updates

I think that’s covered most of the regular questions, but please ask us if you have any queries or questions not answered here…
